Albert Tate
Co-founder and lead pastor of Fellowship Church. Albert is a gifted and dynamic communicator who is passionate about sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the local and global church. His unique style combines humor and storytelling, inspiration and conviction, grace and truth. After hearing a call from God to plant a Gospel-centered, multi-ethnic, intergenerational church, Albert and his wife LaRosa planted Fellowship Church in January 2012. Their hope for Fellowship is to cultivate a community of disciples who are being transformed by the Gospel, Growing in a life of worship, Gathering in community, and Giving their lives away on mission.

Matt Merold
Matt Merold, is the grandson of Ben Merold who was Eastside’s Pastor from 1969 to 1991. Matt has been the lead Pastor of Bethany Christian Church in Washington, Indiana since 1999. During that time Matt has led this multi-site church through generosity campaigns, building additions, and a relocation. Matt’s vision of an outward-focused, evangelistic community of believers has led a small-town church from 80 to over 2000 in weekend attendance. A gifted speaker and Spirit-filled leader, Matt has been instrumental in leading a small-town church to experience amazing growth. Matt and his wife, Kelli, have 5 boys.

Carl Kuhl
Founding and lead pastor of Mosaic Christian Church near Baltimore, MD. Since launching in 2008, Mosaic has baptized over 800 people. Mosaic is a church for people who don’t go to church and is known for being a place where broken people can bump into Jesus and find hope, grace, and truth. Carl’s greatest passion is to help God’s lost children come home, followed up by those for family, sports, and good bourbon. He is the author of, The Contrarian’s Guide to Church Planting.

After serving for twelve years at a large church in Indianapolis, the Barker family was called to plant a new church in Santa Barbara, CA. Mission City Church was launched in September of 2018. Jake provides vision, leadership, and teaching for the young church located in the #9 most post-Christian city in America according to Barna Group. Mission City exists to help people find and follow Jesus.
