Weekend services are the front door to community and encountering God at Eastside.

Join us for worship, teaching from scripture, and connection with other young adults. We typically sit in the front left/center section.

Find Your People in a Small Group

This spring many of our groups have been journeying through the Old Testament Challenge, reading and discussing the story of God across Scripture together.

If you’re new, you can still jump in for the final weeks of groups for spring.

Starting in April  we shift into a spring conversation called “Becoming Someone” exploring relationships, dating, sex, singleness, and marriage, and how following Jesus shapes the way we approach love, commitment, and our future.

🗓️ 2026 Group Rhythm
Spring Trimester: Feb 4 – Apr 29
Summer Trimester: Jun 3 – Aug 29
Fall Trimester: Oct 7 – Dec 16

Between each trimester, we host Care & Connect Months (January, May, and September). These are relaxed gatherings designed to develop leaders, help people build friendships, reconnect with community, and bring others along and include things like:
• community nights and games
• shared meals
• local serve projects
• worship experiences
These months are a great time to meet new people, reconnect with friends, and find your group before the next season begins.

  • College students
  • Post-college
  • Young professionals
  • Working full-time
  • In between seasons
  • Sorting out faith
  • Single, dating, engaged, or married

If you’re wondering, “Do I belong here?”

Yes! Come as you are.

You don’t have to believe before you belong.

The easiest way to get connected is to come to a weekend service and meet us after.

Young adults sit together in the front left at specific services across our campuses (click HERE for locations) and often hang out afterward, grabbing food, meeting new people, and building friendships.

From there, the next step for most people is joining a small group.

Weekend → Community → Growth.

Absolutely.

Many people come alone for their first time.

We’ve built YA specifically so no one has to walk in or sit alone:

  • YA volunteers will greet you
  • We sit together (front-left at each campus)
  • We introduce you to people right away
  • You can move at your own pace, no pressure

You’ll be welcomed quickly and genuinely.

A relaxed, friendly, come-as-you-are atmosphere.
Most people wear jeans, hoodies, sneakers.
We’re not a clique or a club we’re a spiritual family in progress.

Eastside Young Adults is for ages 18–26, and there are two main ways to connect.

WEEKENDS
Young adults gather and attend Eastside weekend services together, often choosing a service time where other young adults are present. It’s a great place to worship, hear teaching, and start meeting people.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT GROUPS
Small groups meet on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM across campuses. This is the primary place young adults build friendships, talk about life and faith, and grow together.

NEW HERE
If you’re not sure where to start, the easiest next step is to text us or fill out this Connect Form, and someone from our team will help you find a group or gathering near you.

Our community revolves around three simple rhythms that help young adults grow in faith, friendships, and purpose.

WEEKENDS
We attend specific weekend services together across Eastside campuses and usually sit in the front-left / center section.

Weekend gatherings anchor our community in worship, teaching from Scripture, and connection to the larger church family.

Many young adults follow a simple rhythm:

  • Attend one service
    • Serve one service
    • Hang out after

After most services, young adults stay to grab food, meet people, and build friendships.

SMALL GROUPS
Small Groups are the heart of Young Adults.

Groups meet weekly during our Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters and create space to build friendships while growing in faith.

We have:

  • College groups
  • Post-college
  • Young professional groups
  • Co-ed
  • Men’s / Women’s groups
  • Non-student groups

In groups we:

  • talk honestly about life and faith
    • study Scripture
    • pray for each other
    • support one another through life

For most people, small groups become their closest community.

SERVING TOGETHER

Serving is one of the fastest ways to build friendships and discover your purpose.

Instead of just attending church together, we believe young adults should serve and lead within the life of the church.

Young adults serve throughout the church in areas like:

  • Small Group Leadership
    • Weekend Teams
    • Media & Story
    • Compassion and outreach initiatives

Serving helps young adults grow in leadership, live out their faith, and make a real impact.

Serving is one of the fastest ways to build community and discover purpose.

You can join:

  • YA Small Group Leaders
  • YA Events Team
  • YA Admin / Ops Team
  • YA Media / Story Team

OR serve anywhere in the broader church  Guest Services, Kidside, Worship, Compassion, and more.

Your gifts matter. There’s a place for you here.

Internships run in three terms each year:
Fall (Sept–Dec)
Spring (Feb–May)
Summer (June–Aug)

Eastside is a church that believes young adults are not the future of the church, they are the church right now.

You’re not alone…  and you’re safe here.

We know being a young adult life is navigating anxiety, burnout, transitions, identity questions, and spiritual uncertainty.
We take that seriously.

At Eastside YA, you’ll find:

  • Pastors who care
  • Coaches and mentors
  • Safe conversations
  • Prayer support
  • Access to Eastside’s Care & Counseling resources

You don’t have to hide.
You don’t have to pretend.
We walk with you.

No.

Young Adults is not a separate church service.

Instead, we gather together within Eastside’s weekend services because we believe worship, teaching, and being part of the larger church family matters.

Our groups, hangs, and events happen in addition to weekends.

We know this season brings big questions, transitions, and concerns.

Here’s what we want you to know:

  • Eastside YA is a safe, healthy, Jesus-centered community for 18–26-year-olds.
  • Your young adult will be surrounded by friends, mentors, pastors, and healthy peers.
  • Our leaders are vetted, background-checked, trained, and supported.
  • We emphasize emotional, relational, and spiritual growth.
  • Your student will be encouraged to build a faith that lasts.
  • We partner with families not replace them.

We are committed to seeing every young adult thrive.

While YA is specifically designed for 18–26-year-olds, we’d love to help you connect meaningfully:

  • Serve on a YA team
  • Join or lead an adult small group
  • Volunteer in Kids, Students, Worship, or Compassion
  • Explore leadership or mentoring roles

We’ll help you take your next step. Email us to talk!

No.

This is a safe place for:

  • skeptics
  • seekers
  • new believers
  • returning-to-faith
  • committed Christians

You don’t have to believe before you belong.
Bring your questions.
Bring your doubts.
Bring your story.

We believe Jesus transforms lives.

God created us for a relationship with Him, but sin separates us from God. Through Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, we can be forgiven and restored to that relationship.

The Bible guides what we believe and how we live, and the Church is the community of people following Jesus together.

You can learn more about our full beliefs here.

We’d genuinely love to connect with you.

Our hope is that no one slips through unnoticed, so if you’re new or have questions, we’d love to hear your story maybe over coffee, matcha, or a simple meal and help you find your place in the Young Adults community.

If you want help getting connected, you can reach us in two easy ways:

Text us at (714) 678.1717 or fill out our Connect Form.

Someone from our team will follow up soon.
Be patient, we’re not robots, we’re real people 🙂
