Kidside (birth – 5th grade)… a fun, relational, and safe place for kids and families to grow together on their faith journey. Our staff and team of screened volunteers are committed to help kids learn to pursue God, connect in community, and unleash compassion. Kidside also includes Special Forces, which provides a safe and loving environment for children with social, physical, mental and developmental differences. Roles in Kidside range from working behind the scenes to interacting directly with kids.
Eastside’s Student Ministries exist to help Junior High and High School students transform their homes, schools, community and the world by Pursuing God, Building Community, and Unleashing Compassion together. Find your passion in investing in the next generation of the church by jumping into one of our Student Ministries teams!
creative arts
If you’re creatively or technically wired, you’ll feel right at home creating engaging and meaningful services. We are the engine, making church happen across all of our campuses. This involves AV, lighting, sound, stage management, and production. Whether your creative gifts are in music, visual arts, drama, or A/V technology, there are a wide variety of opportunities on the Creative Arts teams to use your creative and technical abilities.
Our team of volunteer photographers are responsible for shooting inspiring photos to be used in our weekend experience web and social media.
Join our team that engages with guest on social media platforms.
Provide meals for our Weekend Experience teams that help to make weekend services happen.
This ministry is very important to our teams since they are at church during peak meal times.
Our Green Room Hospitality team provides Dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. All expenses are reimbursed. So if you love to cook, they love to eat.
We are so excited that you are interested in being a part of Eastside’s Worship Team! We find a sense of commonality in our desire to worship God with our gifts, our talents, our love for the Church, for Jesus and for God’s people. We have a vision for continuously increasing our worship ministry here at Eastside Christian Church. Auditions are a very practical tool for evaluating the skills and heart of people who feel called to serve on the Worship Team. We want to encourage the pursuit of skill in the music we present to the Lord. If you have a heart to lead others into meaningful worship and you feel you are skilled with your voice and/or instrument, we would love to get to know you!

Do you enjoy helping others in their spiritual journey and praying for them? We would love to have you explore becoming a Pastor on Call!
Do you love people and thrive in a group setting? Use your skills of connection and conversation as a small group leader! Small groups are weekly gatherings of 5-15 people that meet in homes, coffeeshops, the great outdoors, and online. They provide a place where you can make friends, follow Jesus, and make a difference.

There are many different roles in our cafe and grill, including barista, serving food, cashier, grilling, food prep, and providing a warm and welcoming environment.
If you love serving with people, providing a warm and inviting environment, and have the gift of hospitality, then the Events Team is for you! Come join this team and enjoy making others feel welcomed!

Do you love making people feel seen and welcomed the moment they arrive? Join our Host Team – the heartbeat of the Eastside guest experience and the first step in our “street to seat” ministry! Whether you’re greeting people in the parking lot, opening doors with a warm smile, or keeping a watchful eye for the first-time guest who looks like they could use a friendly face, our Hosts are the first expression of radical hospitality that every person experiences when they step onto our campus. If you have a gift for reading people and a passion for making others feel at home, we’d love for you to serve alongside us.
Do you have a servant’s heart? Our Auditorium Team assists people to their seats, facilitates communion, and helps maintain a distraction-free service environment for our guests, so that they can better pursue God through worship and the message.
Have a heart for assisting others? Our Info Desk Team supports our guests by providing resources and information about weekend services, along with other important details related to Eastside.
Compassion

This group of Change Makers facilitates compassion activity and mobilizes Eastsiders to serve. Projects vary depending on the season, skillset, and campus. Ways you can serve while on the Crew include shopping or delivering partner supplies, helping support global heading out, prepping compassion experiences for other Eastside groups, helping promote upcoming compassion opportunities at your campus, and more. The Dream Team is a Change Maker Team for those who are called and blessed to help build God’s kingdom through Eastside with the gift of giving beyond the level of the tithe. Dream Team members gratefully recognize that God has given them the spiritual gift of giving along with the resources to make an eternal impact for generations to come.
