What is the difference between a memorial service and a funeral?
Typically a funeral implies the deceased will be present in open or closed casket. A memorial is usually presented without the deceased.
How can I schedule a service at Eastside for a loved one?
Reservations – It’s understood that these circumstances may occur quite suddenly, and our team is prepared to help you with all the last minute details. We prefer to schedule our facility (pending availability) at least 5-7 days in advance, which will allow our teams time to plan for the event.
Officiant – We ask that an Eastside pastor officiate all memorial and funeral services on our campus. Our staff is well-qualified and will honor your loved ones.
Service Details – We ask that any funeral or memorial service not exceed 60 minutes. This allows for some predictability for our personnel and facility use.
