Welcome Josh and his family
We’re thrilled to welcome Josh Whelchel to the Eastside Team! In addition to serving as our Anaheim Campus Pastor, Josh will also be leading our Next Gen Teams.
Josh grew up in Las Vegas, where he was introduced to Jesus at an early age and fell in love with the mission of the local church. Feeling called to ministry, he chose to attend Hope International University in Fullerton, CA. It was there that he first walked through the doors of Eastside and began participating in Eastside’s Young Adult ministry. He went on to earn his Master’s from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and is passionate about helping people experience God’s amazing grace.
Josh and his wife Sarah have two incredible kids. When they’re not at Eastside, you’ll find them at the beach, an amazing park, or a delicious local coffee shop soaking up the California sun.
