What To Expect

The Christmas service will be about 75–80 minutes with a lively atmosphere for all ages. Be inspired by upbeat music and sing along to familiar carols. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the season together.

For our Christmas services, we recommend arriving about 30 minutes early.  You’ll enjoy some extra time before the service starts to enjoy all the Christmas decor and make memories at our great photo ops, plus free hot chocolate. Our “World Famous Grill” is closed until January, so make plans to come back then. However, you can still stop by the Cafe for holiday drinks and goodies.

We have amazing volunteers we call Change Makers!! You’ll find these friendly people who can’t wait to welcome you and show you around! 

Dress however you’d like – cozy, casual, or Christmas-fancy! Some people enjoy dressing up a bit for the holiday photo ops, but you’ll fit right in no matter what you wear.

Your kids are invited to join you in the Christmas service – it’s designed for all ages! We also offer children’s programming for Birth–PreK. Your preschoolers will get to experience the story of Jesus’ birth through games, crafts, and fun holiday activities.

On December 27/28, we’re hosting At The Movies: Family Edition! Bundle up the whole crew for this special holiday weekend. Our amazing children’s ministry will be open for Birth–PreK during Pajama Weekend, and your family can enjoy movie moments and an inspiring message together.

Then be sure to bring the whole family back in January! Each weekend, Eastside Kidside is available during every service for Birth–5th grade. Our awesome, fully screened volunteers serve consistently at the same service each week, helping your kids build friendships and learn important biblical truths in the most fun and engaging way possible.

Special Forces is Eastside’s special needs ministry, created to provide a safe, loving, and joy-filled environment for individuals with social, physical, mental, or developmental differences. Our heart is to encourage every child in their relationship with Jesus.

During our Christmas services, we’ll be offering Special Forces programming so your child can experience Christmas in Kidside — a magical celebration filled with games, crafts, and, of course, singing and hearing the incredible story of Jesus’ birth. These rooms will be open on our Anaheim Campus and Bellflower Campus.
