Kidside Anaheim Refresh
Every weekend, more than 1,000 children—from birth through elementary school—walk through the doors of Kidside at our Anaheim campus. They laugh, learn, build friendships, discover God’s love, and take important steps in their faith journey.
Many of the spaces where these life-changing moments happen have remained largely unchanged since we moved into the Anaheim campus nearly 14 years ago. In fact, some of the parents now checking in their children once attended Kidside in these very same rooms.
While the ministry has continued to grow and thrive, our environments are showing their age.
The Challenge
Our Anaheim Kidside environments have faithfully served thousands of children and families. However, years of constant use have created needs that can no longer be addressed through simple repairs.
Our current challenges include:
- Worn and outdated paint throughout Kidside environments
- Aging toys, furnishings, and learning elements that need replacement
- Security cameras that are reaching the end of their useful life and need updating
- Children’s spaces that no longer reflect the excellence and creativity we want every family to experience
- Environments that communicate our past more than our future
As we continue to welcome more than 1,000 children each weekend, we have an opportunity to create spaces that are safe, engaging, and inspiring for the next decade of ministry.
The Planned Improvements
Our goal is to refresh the Anaheim Kidside environments through:
- Refreshed paint and updated finishes throughout Kidside spaces
- Replacement of aging toys and children’s equipment
- Updated security camera systems to enhance safety and security
- General improvements that provide a welcoming experience for both kids and parents

The Results
This project is about much more than paint, cameras, or toys. It’s about creating environments where children are excited to return each week. It’s about helping first-time families feel confident and welcomed. It’s about equipping our incredible Change Makers with spaces that support effective ministry. Most importantly, it’s about investing in the next generation of Christ-followers.
