what to expect
We know that sometimes your first visit can feel a little overwhelming or intimidating. We think you'll quickly discover why we say "this is for everyone". We are a diverse congregation of all ages, and a place to take a next step wherever you are in your spiritual journey. We welcome the skeptic, the doubter and the believer. Eastside is a place where it's okay to not be okay.
Our music is upbeat and contemporary and you may even recognize a song or two. Sometimes we’re loud, so we guarantee you won’t fall asleep! After church save some time to stop by our photo ops.
Feel free to come a little early and grab a drink at the cafe on your way in. Here at Eastside, one of our favorite things to do is spend time with friends. One way we do that is by sharing a meal together. After the service stop by Guest Central to pick up your welcome gift and a free voucher for the grill in SoCal or a free drink and pastry in Park Rapids.
We have amazing volunteers we call Change Makers!! You’ll find these friendly people wearing red shirts who can’t wait to welcome you and show you around!
Wear whatever you want and are comfortable in! We are pretty casual around here! We’ll also have some photo ops available!
Wondering what your kids are doing while you’re in church? Kidside is for children birth – 5th Grade. We have awesome, fully screened volunteers we call Change Makers. They serve at the same service each week to ensure your kids are making friends and learning important Biblical truths in the most fun way possible. Please stop by our Kidside Guest Kiosk and we’ll get you checked in. For more details check out eastside.com/kids.
Our students will be joining us in the Easter services so make sure to come back the week after so your student and young adult can discover a community encouraging them to pursue friendships that matter, follow Jesus and make a difference in their schools, community and around the world.

EASTER FOR KIDS
Join us for an amazing weekend of fun as we celebrate Easter together! This year our PEEPS PARTY will be better than ever! Our SoCal kids will have a bubbleologist who will create all types and sizes of bubbles - even big enough to stand in! Park Rapids will have an amazing balloon artist. We will have worship, story time, crafts and of course plenty of PEEPS to eat! And some healthy snacks too! To find out more about our children's programs click the button below.

Whether it is your first Sunday with us or your 100th, we really mean this is for everyone, including finding a place to volunteer. If you haven't already joined a Change Maker team and are looking to make an impact this Easter, this is your chance! Sign up now to help during one of our Easter services. No experience is required but space is limited!
holy week
Gene has put together special video content, as we remember Jesus’ incredible journey to the cross. Gene will be presenting a daily experience to help enrich our spiritual journey in preparation for Easter. Specifically designed around Holy Week, he will walk through some of the significant moments that led up to Good Friday. Below is the schedule:
- Monday – Palm Sunday
- Tuesday – The Upper Room: A place of love and acceptance
- Wednesday – The Garden of Gethsemane: A place of prayer
- Thursday – The Courtyard of Caiaphas: a place of regret (Peter’s Denial)
- Friday – Golgotha: A place of Love and Justice
