Kidside (birth – 5th grade)… a fun, relational, and safe place for kids and families to grow together on their faith journey. Our staff and team of screened volunteers are committed to help kids learn to pursue God, connect in community, and unleash compassion. Roles range from working behind-the-scenes to interacting directly with kids and teens.

Special Forces provides a safe and loving environment for children with social, physical, mental and developmental differences.  We offer both an interactive classroom experience as well as a buddy system for children who would benefit from being mainstreamed. Special Forces change makers help provide a self-contained environment that is identical to our Kidside classes. Please visit eastside.com/specialforces for more information about volunteering.

Transforming Jr. Highers by helping them Pursue God, Build Community, and Unleash Compassion in their homes, communities, and the world. We shatter the stereotype that church is boring and invite all 6th, 7th and 8th graders to jump in and discover new friends, an exciting faith, and a really fun time!

Eastside’s High School Ministry exists to help students transform their homes, schools, community and the world by Pursuing God, Building Community, and Unleashing Compassion.  Find your passion in investing into the next generation of high school students.

creative arts

If you’re creatively or technically wired, you’ll feel right at home  creating engaging and meaningful services.  We are the engine, making church happen across all of our campuses. This involves AV, lighting, sound, stage management, and production. Whether your creative gifts are in music, visual arts, drama, or A/V technology, there are a wide variety of opportunities on the Creative Arts teams to use your creative and technical abilities.

Our team of volunteer photographers are responsible for shooting inspiring photos to be used in our weekend experience web and social media.

We are so excited that you are interested in being a part of Eastside’s Worship Team! We find a sense of commonality in our desire to worship God with our gifts, our talents, our love for the Church, for Jesus and for God’s people. We have a vision for continuously increasing our worship ministry here at Eastside Christian Church. Auditions are a very practical tool for evaluating the skills and heart of people who feel called to serve on the Worship Team. We want to encourage the pursuit of skill in the music we present to the Lord. If you have a heart to lead others into meaningful worship and you feel you are skilled with your voice and/or instrument, we would love to get to know you! To learn more please click on the “Audition” button.

BUILD COMMUNITY

Baptism is such an important and exciting step in the life of a believer! Our baptism team assists our pastors in preparing a guest for their baptism and even gets a chance to continue celebrating this event by following up with them. If you have a heart for helping others take that step in faith, the baptism team is for you!

Are you passionate about helping those who are new to faith and new to church get connected into environments where they can begin to grow and give back to others? If so, we’d love to have you join our Next Steps Team.

If you love people  – Guest Central is your team. After services you will personally welcome our first guests and provide a warm hello and a gift.

Do you love people and thrive in a group setting? Use your skills of connection and conversation as a small group leader! Small groups are weekly gatherings of 5-15 people that meet in homes, coffeeshops, the great outdoors, and online. They provide a place where you can make friends, follow Jesus, and make a difference. To find out more, please click on the “Lead ” button below.

Do you have a heart for those outside the church—both in our community and around the world? This team of volunteers not only serves those that are hurting, hungry and the poor.  Our philosophy is to focus on holistic work wherever possible, partner with those that are doing it best, and do it all in Jesus’ name.
