Here they can obtain individual and group therapy, social services referrals, housing assistance and legal services, as well as many different workshops and seminars tailored to fit the client’s individual needs.

INFERTILITY, PREGNANCY LOSS OR POSTPARTUM SUPPORT

OC Parent Wellness Program provides prevention and early intervention services to expectant and new parents, during pregnancy or within 12 months of having a child, who are experiencing mild to moderate symptoms of anxiety and/or depression which are attributable to either the current pregnancy or recent birth of their child. The goal is to improve bonding and attachment between babies and their caregivers as a result of improved mental wellness and promote healthy families.

Journey To Remember Program The Journey to Remember Program is a perinatal comfort care program created to provide a safe and nurturing environment for families who wish to carry to term despite a life-limiting or fatal diagnosis. We provide sensitive care facilitated by a labor and delivery nurse trained in bereavement with personal experience in perinatal loss during the pregnancy, delivery, and follow up bereavement support for the years to come.

Memory Box Program The Memory Box Program allows us to donate memory boxes to families and hospitals. The boxes are used as a home for keepsakes and photos for anyone who has experienced a pregnancy or infant loss.

Hoag Hospital As part of the Pregnancy & Infant Loss Program, Hoag offers a weekly Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Group for parents and families who have experienced an early pregnancy loss, stillbirth or newborn death. An additional support group is available for women, who have lost a baby during pregnancy or infancy AND are pregnant now. Groups are facilitated by a LCSW, who specializes in pregnancy after a loss.

Someplace Safe The Domestic Violence program of Someplace Safe is operated by staff and/or volunteers who have been trained to help victims and survivors cope with a wide range of needs and responses to domestic violence. All advocacy services provided by Someplace Safe are completely free and confidential.

Advocacy Services Advocates are trained staff and volunteers who offer help for victims, survivors, family and friends who have been affected by family violence. They will assist survivors of abuse or assault at the hospital or law enforcement center. Guide and assist in locating resources and provide legal Advocacy and/or Criminal Justice System Intervention.

Infertility Support Group Professionally Led This group is for individuals or couples, at any point, in the fertility/family building journey. It is a safe place for you to process your feelings and get support for the impact of infertility on your life. You will also have the opportunity to learn and share coping strategies for the emotional, physical and relational stresses of reproductive difficulties. In addition, you will receive information and support in the areas of self-esteem, decision-making, and relationship difficulties. Fee: Cost is $20/group RSVP required

Infertility Support Group RESOLVE Peer-led Support Groups are informal opportunities for women and men experiencing infertility to connect with one another, to discuss their situations and to receive support from others who have had similar experiences or who are struggling with similar issues. Attendance is free.

Fruitful We’re committed to making infertility suck less. Fruitful is a free fertility mentorship program that connects those struggling with infertility with those who’ve been through it firsthand. Because no one should have to go through this crap on their own.
