keith gunther

Keith has been attending Eastside since 2011. He has previously served as an Elder at Eastside as well various other roles over these years including leading small groups, serving communion, participating in local compassion initiatives and holding leadership roles on Beyond Borders trips. He and his wife Nancy have been married for 46 years, have two children and have always strived to create a home where Christ is present, where their children and now our grandchildren can freely, openly and safely experience Christ’s love and grace. He is the owner of MGM Financial Group in La Palma, a group of faith-based tax and financial professionals.

tamara schlachter

Tamara has been a part of the Eastside family for over 25 years. She has been active in many ministries, including small groups, Sunday School classes, women’s ministry events, early childhood ministry, marriage mentorship and MOPS. She currently is serving as a partner lead with His-OC and City Net. She has been on multiple global compassion teams to Kenya.  She and Michael have been married for 26 years and have three children, all actively involved at Eastside.  Tamara works as an elementary school teacher in the Walnut Valley School District.  She credits her growth in her faith to her participation in the Eastside programs and the people she has met over the years in ministry.

james sallinger

James has been attending Eastside since 2014. He has served in various roles including leading small groups for adults and Next Gen, serving with Compassion through Serve Days and community outreach projects, and serving on the Build Community and baptism teams. He and Rita have been married for 28 years and have five children. James works as a principal broker and realtor for SRG Investments, Inc. in Orange. James’ personal mission statement for both ministry and business is “to help people lead the lives they could if they only knew how.” He desires to use his life to help people come to know the life changing love and power of Jesus.

After a thorough process, our elders are recommending three new members for our Elder Board. Next is an important phase in which the congregation has 30 days to register any scriptural reason they know that any candidate is not qualified to serve by emailing elders@eastside.com. Nominees will begin serving a three-year term in August.
